Jomtien is generally lesser known than its neighbor Pattaya, but that
doesn’t mean that it’s any lesser of a place. For those residing
in Bangkok, it is a popular weekend destination for its watersports,
beaches, and relaxing environment. It is also ideal for those who
don’t want to be surrounded by Pattaya’s nightlife but also want
access to entertainment and the amenities of a city.

The Advantages Of Owning A Condo
Condo
ownership is different than home ownership. The primary differences
between the two are the responsibilities for maintenance. However
there are other factors that can be advantageous because of location,
cost, and security.
Maintenance
Responsibilities
Generally
owners of condos are not responsible for the maintenance of common
areas and the exterior of the structure. However, owners are
generally responsible for the maintenance of the interior of their
room. As each condo differs, there are usual maintenance fees and
they vary from condo to condo. For example the Treetops Pattaya has a
maintenance fee of 40 baht per month per square meter. In the end,
this saves the condo residents from needing to hire and monitor
external projects and other worries that come with home ownership
such as home and land maintenance.

Some
good advice for any foreigner thinking about entering the property
ladder in Thailand is to read up as much as possible on Thai property

involving foreigners losing their life savings due to bad advice or
generally being scammed.
It
is always a gamble going into property in any other country that
isn’t your own. But if we are honest with the recent financial
climate it isn’t a safe bet buying property even in your own
country!

offence without meaning to do so.
This page

you to settle into your new life more easily.

Pattaya, a great place to live
Pattaya is one of the
worlds top holiday destinations, but why visit, when you can stay!
Real estate in Pattaya is a massive market with the unique offer of
beach front property at an affordable price. You don't have to be a a
tycoon to have a condo by the beach. Pattaya is one of Thailand's top
tourist destination, offering not only some of the most amazing
tropical beaches but a vibrant night life as well. Pattaya is a great
place to retire for foreigners, with such low cost of living and
property, that even those who rely on their pension can also
experience Pattaya.
The government strongly
supports retirement, with Thailand even having a special category of
visa for people over the age of 45 interested in retiring in
Thailand. Though foreigners are not permitted to own property in
Thailand they are allowed to own the title to Condominium. The blue
water and white sand beaches are just the start of why you should
live in Pattaya. The tropical weather means that Pattaya is warm year
round apart from the brief raining season, though it never gets cold.
As mentioned before the resort city of Pattaya has one of the most
exciting night life's in Thailand.
The famous Walking
street has some of the city's largest establishments and is buzzing
with excitement year round. The beach offers many activities ranging
from water sports to Thai massages at a fraction of the cost in
Europe.. With only an hour and half's drive between Pattaya and
Bangkok via the 120km Suhkumvit highway, Pattaya offers one the
option in live in Pattaya and travel to Bangkok for business. The
Pattaya bus station is well connected and offers hourly transport to
Suvarnabhumi airport and Bangkok.
Pattaya is also
connected to Bangkok via the Eastern Line of the State Railways, with
trains traveling daily between Pattaya and Bangkok's Hualumphong
train station. Thailand is well connected by a network of highways
and in the cities mopeds offer an easy and quick mode of transport.
Most people in Thailand travel by moped as they are cheap to purchase
and highly fuel efficient.
Alternatively the main
mode of transport for those without mopeds are Songtheaws and
Tuktuks. Songtheaws, pickups with benches in the back, offer cheap
transportation along set routes charging only 10 or 15 baht for
anywhere along the route, most are colored coded according to route.
Red Songtheaws are available for hire to a specific place for a
slightly higher fare.

Jomtien As One of the Most Easily Lived in Cities in South East Asia.
If
you are planning on purchasing a property to rent in Pattaya out then there are
few better places than Jomtien in Thailand. Jomtien is part of
Pattaya; a city which has long since proved itself as one of the most
easily lived in cities in South East Asia.
Pattaya
has all the things that a westerner has to live comfortably. In fact
it’s got everything that a westerner needs to live much, much more
comfortably than they could live in the west! The climate is far
superior to most western countries. The food is some of the best in
the world, the bars and nightlife in and around the Pattaya area are
legendary and the plazas are full of western shops selling high end
household names, as well as cheaper locally made items.
Jomtien Beach Is A Beautiful Part of The World.
Jomtien
beach is a beautiful part of the world. It is located in Pattaya on
the gulf of Thailand and is extremely accessible from Bangkok’s
Suvarabhumi Airport, which is only 2 hours drive away.
Many
people come to Thailand just for a holiday, but when they become
immersed in the culture and laid back lifestyle they find that they
want to stay longer. If this is the case then why not look out forhouses for rent in Jomtien?

Pattaya is a coastal town on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand
Pattaya
is a coastal town on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, just two
hour’s drive (130km) from Bangkok in the province of Chonburi. The
city and beach is a popular destination for tourists, Thais and
foreign expatriates alike.
Due to
the city’s proximity to the capital it is fast becoming Thailand’s
second city. Many foreign businesses have their Asian headquarters
there. This is especially true for western businesses. It is
obviously much easier to accommodate a western businessman in a city
like Pattaya rather than somewhere in the middle of Isaan, for
example.

Things to Considered Buying Thai Property
Are
you currently living in Thailand and looking for a property to buy?
If so you have a few choices available to you. Many expatriates that
move to Thailand and buy property, invest in the areas that attract
tourists. This means that they can rent the property out easily when
it is not in use and make an income.
The
main area that people buy property in is Pattaya. This resort has a
huge expatriate base and is the second most visited resort in
Thailand by tourists. Whilst Pattaya is the man area, there is an
area known as Jomtien which is just south of Pattaya. Jomtien still
has many of the same amenities as Pattaya, but is considered a much
nicer place due to the fantastic beach and the more chilled out
atmosphere.

Tourists and Ex-Pats Are Often Amazed By The Prices
Tourists and ex-pats in Thailand are
often amazed by the prices, especially when compared to back home. At
the start, this is as simple as enjoying a few more luxuries, such as
exotic meals and treats. However, after a while, it inevitably dawns
on them that maybe there is even more available at these great
prices. This is when people start to look at investments, like gold,
jewels and property.
Property in Thailand is surprisingly
affordable. This is due to a low cost of living and lower labour
rates than in the west. Things in Thailand are generally cheaper and
hence very nice properties can be purchased for very reasonable
prices. All types of property are available, from mansions and
houses, to single bedroom en-suite apartments.
Looking For A Holiday In Thailand ?
When looking at holidays in Thailand,
many will head to the major cities of Bangkok, Pattaya, Chang Mai and
Phuket. However, as Pattaya is near the airport, but also next to the
sea, this holiday destination has remained extremely popular over the
years. Due to the many visitors, it has also evolved into a modern
area with many various facilities to ensure tourists and local
visitors enjoy their stay. The high season runs from October, through
to February; however, tourist flock to this resort continuously
throughout the year.
