Looking For A Holiday In Thailand ?

When looking at holidays in Thailand, many will head to the major cities of Bangkok, Pattaya, Chang Mai and Phuket. However, as Pattaya is near the airport, but also next to the sea, this holiday destination has remained extremely popular over the years. Due to the many visitors, it has also evolved into a modern area with many various facilities to ensure tourists and local visitors enjoy their stay. The high season runs from October, through to February; however, tourist flock to this resort continuously throughout the year.

Pattaya and Jomtien caters to all sorts of tourists. It doesn't matter whether you want a quiet holiday, comforts like you'd expect at home, or an action packed adventure … you really can find it all in this area. For those that like to keep busy, the area has plenty on offer. Shopping and partying are some popular activities, along with whiling away the days on the beach.

However, for those that like a bit more variety, there is plenty to do. Go-karting for the more competitive is a fun way to blow off a little stress. Maybe you would like to take on a real adventure at the Siracha Tiger Farm; getting up close and personal with those big kitties. For those that just love to wonder and explore, the options of floating markets, temples, parks and sanctuaries are all within easy reach.

That said, although this is all in the same area, those that tend to like things a little more comfortable and peaceful are tending to sway towards Jomtiem. This area is a little quieter and also provides some incredible dining. High class restaurants are doing well in this area, as it is a popular destination of both ex-pats and people needing a break from the city life of Bangkok.

With all this in mind, it is not surprising that there is a trend towards searching out decent houses for sale in Jomtiem to use as holiday homes, investments, or places of retirement. The area gives you a great balance, with very easy access to Bangkok and Pattaya, but a slightly calmer daily life. Those wanting to visit the big city frequently can do so easily with the many bus and minivan services on offer. Moreover, even taxis are not expensive, as the airport is just 1-1.5 hours from Pattaya and Jomtiem. There are a wide range of properties for sale in the area and many real estate agents that can help you.
