Jomtien
beach is a beautiful part of the world. It is located in Pattaya on
the gulf of Thailand and is extremely accessible from Bangkok’s
Suvarabhumi Airport, which is only 2 hours drive away.
Many
people come to Thailand just for a holiday, but when they become
immersed in the culture and laid back lifestyle they find that they
want to stay longer. If this is the case then why not look out forhouses for rent in Jomtien?
The
rental market in Thailand is astonishingly cheap. Most visitors to
the country don’t realise just how much of a good deal they can get
on houses, as they spend their time in guesthouses or hotels. The
rental on a house in Thailand is tiny, in comparison to daily
guesthouse fees.
It
is possible to pick up a rental house in the Jomtien area of Pattaya
from in the region of 6000b per month. For this price one would
expect western style amenities such as bathroom and kitchen, but not
a lot in the way of luxuries. Obviously the ceiling price on rental
properties can be as high as you want to spend, but if you are on a
budget (as most of us are these days) then finding a house for rent inThailand can be really inexpensive.
If
you are undecided on how long you are going to stay in the country it
is possible to find short term rentals that you can rent each month
at a time and not have to worry about a minimum contract. The price
for renting this way may be higher though. It is always worth looking
into whether it is just cheaper to rent a house with a minimum
contract and let the deposit go if you leave before the minimum
contract time arrives.
Whatever
you decide to do as regards renting a property I am sure that you
will find living, or at least spending a few months of the year, in
Thailand really rewarding. If you don’t fall in love with the place
for the food, great weather and laid back lifestyle then I am sure
that there will be something for you in this amazing country. So many
people come here short term, and then decide to stay, that it must
have some kind of appeal!
With
rental prices that are a fraction of what you pay in rent or for a
mortgage back home there really isn’t a lot to stop you just coming
for a trial run – if you don’t like it you can always return home
having spent very little money for the experience.
